Government information must be easy to find, both current information and historical data. This applies to the information from the Netherlands National Committee for the proctection of animals used for scientific purposes (NCad) as well.
Why do we archive?
Old information can be significant for our history or culture. Additionally, citizens and businesses may derive rights from the information on a government website. For instance, it can be used as evidence in legal proceedings. That is why the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) preserves old pages from our websites in the web archive.
