On November 13th we are organising the NCad Stakeholder Event: The transition to a society without animal experiments – a dialogue on direction and choices.

You are warmly invited to the NCad Stakeholder Event on 13 November 2025, taking place in Utrecht, with the opportunity to participate online if in-person attendance is not possible.

Over the past months, NCad has hosted focused dialogues with smaller groups of stakeholders to explore the following key themes:

  • Ambitious, Realistic Goals
  • Science in Motion: The Road to an Animal Testing-Free Scientific System
  • Values and Considerations in the Context of Animal Testing
  • Accelerating the Transition to Regulatory Research without Animal Testing – Opportunities and Challenges

On 13 November we will bring the main insights from these dialogues to a broader stage. Together we will reflect on the different ways in which progress can be made towards a society without animal testing.

Participation

This Stakeholder Event is designed to be interactive and inclusive. Whether you work in research, policy, regulation, innovation, ethics, or bring perspectives from society at large – your contribution matters. We warmly invite you to join the dialogue. It will be an opportunity to exchange views, connect with others and explore the transition together. Your input will help shape NCad’s upcoming Transition Policy Advice 2.0.

We particularly encourage you to join us in Utrecht, where direct exchange and connection are most fruitful. Online participation is also possible, with opportunities to actively contribute.
