One of the NCad’s most important responsibilities is to provide information about ‘Codes of Practice’ (CoPs), i.e. best practices in the area of animal experiments and the options to Replace, Reduce and Refine these experiments. We also encourage the development and harmonisation of best practices at the national and international level. In doing so, we are promoting the application of 3R methods.
